Missing Doodle in Cambridgeshire
I'm trying to track down a dog that was up for "rescue" in Cambridgeshire. Clearly mistreated, the cream girl needed a new home so we put out an appeal for a permanent home. I've had several genuine inquiries but have now been told that the dog is "with a rescue" whatever that means. I have serious people looking to give this girl a permanent home so would appreciate someone getting in touch if they know where the dog is.
If she has a permanent new home then great, but it the poor girl is simply "in transit" then I'd appreciate knowing.
thanks (the ad is here http://www.pets4homes.co.uk/classifieds ... sbech.html )

Odd. What do you mean she is missing?
Who has ownership of the dog?

That's my question.
She was with someone who advertised her for sale. When we phoned we were told she was "with a rescue" but no more information. We're trying to rehome her and stop her being pushed around and have serious people interested, homes waiting.... but we cant find her.

Well needle in a haystack if the owners aren't prepared to discuss further with you.
Who's to say the rescue? she was handed to would not do best by her and rehome her correctly?
Guess you could start a systematic phone contact trawl through all the rescues in area and tell them of these genuine home offers... Any centre would be delighted to know there was a potential home waiting
Good luck

We can but hope! She certainly deserves a good chance at life.
So many dogs needing good home and care. Unfortunately it is a treadmill of pups/dogs for rehoming not helped at all by puppy farms feeding the trendmill and govt not interested in doing anything about it.

I wasn't intending on a crusade but we try to help where we can. Genuine people who are ready to give this dog a permanent loving home and I cant track down the dog.

There was a Pets4homes advert last week in Wisbech Cambrideshire for a chocolate bitch and her black puppy. She didn't look to good either

Re: Missing Doodle in Cambridgeshire
On a Facebook forum it suggested the dog was going to be signed over to the L T ... So here's hoping??

I'm more interested in getting her a good permanent home than her ending up being shunted around. It's a shame that people who were willing to rehome her didn't get the chance.

I hope you find her or she is with a good home - that photo is so telling.

We often have news reports on our local news about Wisbech ....sadly it's not the lovely town it used to be. It is a popular place for migrant workers that head there from all over employed by gang master's in the last decade or so and it's always been a favourite with traveling communities....although they don't travel much.
Good luck in finding her but I should think sadly she's long gone somewhere

I hope and pray she has maybe found a good home.
Vince doodle ...you will always find him in the kitchen at parties ......
