My poorly doodle woodle baby :(

Post by AustinsMumma » 26 Nov 2013, 20:31

Austin is poorly sick
He hasn't eaten right for about a week (only bits and bobs)
Past two days mostly refused anything
Been rolling TREATS around his mouth and spitting them out :!:

Then... runny poo yesterday (no poop at all today)
Then.... two sicks yesterday. He eventually ate a mouthful or two at 5pm today and then 5 minutes later....
You guessed it
coughing and sicky :(

Rang vets straight away, get him in
£80, 3 injections and some bacteria powder for his food later we are now home
Bums
Vet reckons he's either picked up a dodgy bit of food (unlikely as it's been ongoing and his appetite waining off over time), or a gastro intestinal virus type thing

If he doesn't pick up by the weekend there's something else going on
Meh
Fur babies
Who would have them :x
Me!!!!

Thank you all
Hes well in himself, just won't eat
We said he's going to burn out soon! Must do
The last time he had a good feed was a week ago

He has managed one of his 7 live bacteria powder just now in some puppy milk and kept it down, so...

*fingers crossed*

Gentle doodle licks from jazz and pixie to Austin pup. Perhaps a little scrambled egg or mashed potato (no milk or butter)
Get well soon

Oh no poor Austin! Eskimo kisses from Gracie! Shegot a UTI 3 days after we got her home. I sat and cried, completely hit a stress wall. All good now though,. It seems like he has a devoted mummy and will be better soon!

Good news! (so far *touches wood*) :!:
His puppy milk and bacteria powder from last night stayed down, and he actually WAGGED for a handful of food in his bowl this morning (can't recall when he last wagged for food). So... maybe...... :?: :?

He's slept since then though (approx 8am) so we shall see

Thanks for the wishes
I don't normally pander, but dogs vomiting makes me worry :?
