Buzz's castration experience!

Post by clairelbrooke » 23 Dec 2013, 16:59

So Buzzy was all giddy this morning in the car for the 10 mile trip to the vets crying because he thought he was going for a walk, even went off with the vet fine, thinking she was taking him for his walk....6 hours later a very sleepy groggy doggy! He's laid out on his cushion with the occasional grunt, I think I feel worse than him!!! Hope it wears off soon and he's back to his bouncing self as mummy feels guilty!

Aww, poor old Buzz, he'll be right as rain in no time. I know how you feel, I've felt terrible recently taking Aero to the vet for procedures when he thinks he's going for a lovely walk somewhere!

He's just wolfed a load of meat down (I say a load I mean small compared to what he would eat) I didn't really want to put a collar on him but he won't leave it, during the day I can tell him to leave it and he will but at night he will just pull at it so have had to put it on to get used to it, baubleless and humiliated with a cone head!!

Poor Dexter! Its ok when I'm with him as I stop him licking it as he is very good with leave it command but he's gonna have to make do with the collar for a little while, don't want him getting infected

They look so miserable when you put the cone on, but they do get used to it and it is better than risking infection. He'll be back to his normal self very soon.
