Exciting news!

Post by Coco and Annie » 19 Dec 2014, 22:30

Ok........I couldn't keep it to myself any longer....... I may be crazy, but.....

Meet YOSHI - a large mini Aussie Dood from Tora's Labradoodles. We put a deposit down on him yesterday. The photo is at 2 days old. He'll be a week tomorrow. He is the cream pup in the centre. He will be a 17" inch, loose fleece bundle of gorgeousness.

I'm SO excited. Coco, our 11 month old mini dood will be so happy to have a brother to play with. What a lovely Christmas pressie. We're picking him up on Valentine's day.

I know.....it's so exciting. It's like being a kid again. Only 8 weeks worth of sleeps to go!

I'm afraid I don't have any more photos at this stage, but don't worry - I'll be boring you all senseless with the photos/updates.

BTW, there is another litter of Aussie mini doodles about to be born on Christmas Eve which is not advertised on the Tora website, if anyone else is interested......?

Hello Tracey

I was wondering who Bentleys parents were.? Our new pup is coming from brown Penny and Chewy.

Hi Annie

Bentley parents are summer & bouncer, it was summers last ever litter. If you go on toras Facebook page there are a couple off photos off bentley, & all his brothers & sister are on there so nice to see how they are all doing.
I bet u can't wait, I remember what we where like, it's so exciting, I'm so excited for you.

I am so jealous! Where I live I'm only allowed one dog, so Phoebe can't have a playmate, much as I'd love to get her one.

I looked up Yoshi and apparently (I'm sure you know) it mean best or good or righteous in Japanese. Hope he lives up to his name!

I recently met a big, shaggy brown doodle called Kuma, which, I'm told, is Japanese for "bear" - perfect!

Goodness Mandy G! I didn't realise Yoshi meant that - very apt.

We called our pup Yoshi because of the Nintendo Wii characters Mario and Yoshi! Not quite as erudite a reason as yours.
