Hi everyone,
As promised I'm letting you know how Beaus vet visit went this morning .
At first the vet thought it might be an abscess so she put the needle in to try drain it but hit something hard so they took him back for and e-Ray she bought him back and said indeed he had been shoot he had an bb pellet under his skin so we left hime there for a while so they could remove it. She was so outraged she had called the police who once we had him home came and asked to go into the back garden to look at possible sights where a air rifle could have been used

I am still in shock who would do such a thing all he does is wander round the garden amusing himself he never barks out there so he do not cause a a problem with noise if we could move out I would but we can't so now I'm going to have to watch out for him every time he goes out there . He is now sleeping poor baby . Just wanted to let you all know. Sue

OMG, that is awful. Poor Beau.
Horrible to think that happened in you own back garden. Hope they find them, and Beau makes a full recovery.

It never ceases to amaze me how idiotic some people can be. Like the rest I want to wish Beau a speedy recovery and lets hope the waste of space who did it is found.
Love

Disgraceful and in your own back garden. What kind of person would do such a thing! At least he is on the road to recovery now. It seems awful it would happen in your own back garden.

I thought it sounded like fear in response to a scary thing. That is OUTRAGEOUS, I am so scared for you... it's unbelievable.
Can you keep him in, just go out with him for his wees etc? Lola only goes out back for a wee or a poo. What if the pellet had hit him in the head, or eye? It just doesn't bear thinking about. I'm so sorry to hear about this. I hope they catch the person who did it.
I hope the vet is keeping the pellet? It can be matched to the perpetrators ammo supply?

Words fail me.
I hope the police find out who did it, and I hope he's on the mend soon.

Poor Beau! That is terrible

I hope he gets over it soon - the physical and the mental trauma.

This is absolutely appalling. In his own garden too. I do hope the police find the scum who did this and severely punish them. Then perhaps you can move on. It might be a lot more difficult for Beau to understand though. xx
