WHen you say she is an Australian labradoodle, do you mean she is not a mix of labrador & poodle but has other breeds included? They tend to be a bit smaller than the lab/poodle mixes.

My Beamish was that size at 10 weeks. As an adult he is 25" to the shoulder, and 80 lbs.(he is not an Aussie)

:) Yes they are....they are bright intelligent dogs, they love people and love to please so are easy to train providing you train regularly and consistently from an early age.
Puppy classes are a good start, then find a really good training class to help you through the different stages
They grow as fast as beansprouts so enjoy puppy days ....they will fly past all too quickly.
What name have you chosen for her and what colour is she?

17.6 pounds (8kg) and 37 cm at the shoulder
Thank you for your help :D
Ah she is lovely, our Poppy is 12 weeks and weighed 6.8 kgs on Tuesday and we were wondering how big she would get as Dad is a Australian lab. The vet said to us he thought she would reach 33kgs & he owns Labs himself.

Enjoy her.

Poppy must be getting a growth spurt soon, how tall is she at the shoulder?
Bella is now 8.1kg and still around 36-37 at the shoulder.

If you want I have a chart that will tell you how big she will get.

Image

The math is
Height x 100 divide percent on chart% for your dogs age
Weight x 100 divide percent on chart% for your dogs age
M
It says Bella will be 30kg and 68cm tall
Hope that helps :D
Thank you for the graph very interesting. Poppy is just at 15" or 38cm so I guess they are going to be of a similar size.

Yes Poppy is a very curly Labradoodle. Here is a link to a thread with a picture of her.

They certainly do pile on the weight very quickly, she is a little star and at Puppy training they were very impressed with how quickly she was picking things up.

I will keep dropping by.

Enjoy her

A lot of growth depends on their diet. My oldest doodle Daisy wa fed a not particularly good diet and she reached her adult height at 6 months (she also has hip dysplasia which can't have been helped by the rapid growth). My youngest doodle Beamish was fed a much healthier diet, and he grew slowly and steadily, reaching his full height at 18 months.

I feed raw food but I know not everyone wants to do that. A mix of wet and dry completes with no grain no rice and no more than 20% veg would be my second choice, with quality meat or fish.

Poppy is 13 weeks, born on the 6th June.

We are also considering switching to a raw diet, currently she is still having Hills Science plan that we are continuing with from the breeder.

The wife tried to balance Poppy on the scales yesterday and said that she hadn't put on any weight, which I don't believe as when I have to carry her when she refuses to go for a walk she feels much heavier. It could be her legs are getting longer as sometimes she looks like bambi bouncing around.

Sorry Toby she has just woke up so have just measured her. Poppy is now 15" or 38cms at the shoulder so has grown and inch in 3 days

We are currently feeding her 4 times a day which is a total of 300g a day of dry food. She doesn't always clear the bowl.

You can buy a raw complete food, where all the nutrients are combined ready to feed, or you can mix your own - basically a raw diet is raw meat and bones with a few other bits thrown in. For example this evening my dogs each had a raw duck wing, a raw egg, some chopped lambs kidney, minced duck & tripe, and some minced beef. They loved it!

She is doing well. I have not weighed Poppy this week but can tell she is getting a lump as she refuses to walk along part of the footpath in the park, despite treats being offered & I have to carry her.

Poppy is on Hills Science Plan which is a dry food although once we have used the bag up we are thinking of switching to a raw diet.

She weighed 9.2 kgs yesterday and is 43cm at the shoulder.
