Now that Chester has reached the grand old age of three it appears that we have relaxed too much. It went very quiet yesterday afternoon and when I went to find him he was busy eating our freshly cooked joint of beef that had been left out to rest. He managed to remove it from the kitchen work top where it was on a plate under tin foil without any noise. Clever Dood! Be careful folks - Doods are never too old to steal food and just wait for us Humans to relax a little before they pounce lol!

Oh Jolono! Looks like Chester has been reading Ianto's Summer Bumper issue of 'The Artful Dodger's Big Book of Naughty Doodle Japes'...
At least with my lad (also nearly three) I already know that he is up to no good... whether it's quiet or not!!
He was away with the OH's ham sammy on Saturday - one moment it was there, resting on the table, the next - gone! I swear he has Ninja training...
And yesterday, as we arrived back from a Doodle Meet and fed the two doods, I took my eye off a pot of M&S Caramel Crispy Mini Bites... yup, the Hidden Paw whapped down on the pot, spilling most of them into a certain Doodle's water bowl (rendering them inedible to hooms ) He managed to nab one off the floor before the 'two second rule' kicked in, and they were back in the pot...
Never underestimate a dood.....!

Made me smile, talk about relaxing, first time, fairly sure it's the 1st missy this side at the grand age of 7 years yes seven decided to do a paws up on the kitchen table to take OH's oaty biscuits a few weeks ago! I was so shocked (read laughing) that I initially did not believe OH.

Dexter isn't noted for his brains but I had bought 5doggy sausages and being a good citizen said "no I don't need a bag, and put them in the zip up section of my bag." I forgot all about them dumped the bag on the floor after work and got our dinner. Yep you guessed it ,in the bag undid zip ate all the sausages! then ate his dinner . That's when I remembered the sausages to give him an evening treat. He didn't look guilty just full! H andD

Yoshi has eaten: -

Half an avocado with prawn Mayo
Half a wholemeal homemade loaf of bread
A quarter of a homemade chocolate muffin
A banana with skin
A sock

The list goes on......some of the above has resulted in a phone call to a vet. The sock required treatment

Oscar once snaffled a very large slice of carrot cake .

a slice of pizza,
a jam dougnut,
a chocolate muffin and a mars bar still in the wrapper .

Just can't remember the rest.

Just glad that the beef was still very hot and all he could was nibble round the edges otherwise he would have scoffed the lot.......

I'm not sure that "love" is the right word to use when describing a Doodles thieving antics .

Naughty Chester, these Doodles sure are characters. Poppy likes to steal socks & I caught her running around with a pair of the wife's knickers over her head that she had taken out of the washing basket before they went on the line the other morning. Life sure isn't dull with a Doodle in your life.

Austin's favourite is socks too. And any kind of meat. Usually raw, But he will have cooked as well if that's all that is on offer
Only the other week we were making home made pizzas
All the ham, pepperoni, chicken, etc was separated, chopped up and placed on the worktop
I left the kitchen for 2 minutes
I came back. All gone
Needless to say I had to go to the shop and buy it all again
He left the sweetcorn though
