This time went great again!! I went armed with cheese! I kept calling Winnie back and gave her a piece of cheese and touched he collar each time. She came back reliably every time! Im so happy :D . It is so much nicer to walk her off lead.

Yay! Sometimes it's just a case of being confident that they will come back... if you're feeling uncertain, I think they pick up on it. Keep backing up the training, as they seem to drop in and out. Something I was told recently was to try scattering a few treats when they return to you, it's a reward and a fun exercise to get them using their nose. I've found that it works better if I ask for a sit, touch the collar, treat with one treat, then scatter a few little bits around. It makes it fun for your pup to come back to you... Keep up the good work!!
