Holly update on limp

Post by kathiedoodle » 04 Apr 2019, 12:02

Hi, ended up going to vet as still limping, anyway she had another exam and was taken in for the day for X-rays, picked a dozy girl up 6 hours later big bald spot on leg and quietly slept most of the next day too. Had results back today all clear and no bone damage vet also sent x-rays away to a group researching elbow displacea (free service!) and happy to say appears clear, so back to soft tissue damage, more anti inflamatries and gentle walks and time. She’s not happy about the bald spot keeps licking it, strange how such a large fluffy dog can have such spindly legs :)

Sorry to hear that Holly is still limping but pleased to hear she's ED clear.....nice to know that there is a free research service looking into ED....there is obviously an increase in the number of dogs suffering from this or they wouldn't be researching .
I do hope she starts to improve soon Kath..

Hope Holly is on the mend. Yes its funny to see those spindly legs when all the fur is cut isn't it! Luna looks quite a chunky girl but when she is wet shes a real skinny Minnie!
