I think you'll find Grainne, that the Shepadoodles that are listed on the main page of the site, the bitch is a members dog- not Donnas..she is just advertising them for her.

Donna started off breeding Labradoodles, the litter she has at the moment is acctually her last litter of them as she prefers the Goldendoodles. She found that the Goldendoodles were better coated on the F1's. Its not unusual for somone to breed Labradoodles aswell as Goldendoodles in the one house. You will find a few of the breeders have the 2 breeds.
Hope this helps clarify! :D

Thanks ChoccyDoodle for clearing that up...

The Shepadoodle pups are NOT mine...I cant remember saying they were mine.. :?
I am advertising them on our site not here and they are for another members dog...by the way..they are German Shepherd cross Poodle and are a big thing in America just now...each to their own I say as where would we all be if everyone had an attitude about Poodle crossbreeds...

I have a litter of Apricot F1 labradoodles at the moment which is my last litter of Labradoodles as I am now trying to specialise in Goldendoodles...which are doing brilliant!!! my boy Teddy has qualified to represent Scotland at Scrufts in November and has taken Best in Show at 5 Companion Dog Shows and Best in Show at the Scottish Doodle Day and Reserve Best in Show at another dog show...

To be honest Im not sure what you mean when you said you were surprised about the Goldendoodles??? :? I started out breeding Labradoodles and have now for a few years but have now decided to stick with the Goldendoods as they are my personal preference...

Hopefully Grainne by seeing Teddys pics you can understand why I want to stick to the Goldendoodles as they are MY preference but I did start out with the Labradoodles and love them too..
Hopefully you arent so suprised now and indeed why you were surprised at all in the first place..bit baffled as to what you were meaning!!! :? :?
I have read some of the other threads where one misplaced comment leads to world war three and really am not going down that road at all...I breed firstly Goldendoodles now but had my final litter of Labradoodles.. end of story...no surprise needed...

Ok, I was surprised to see three breeds advertised on the one site- I was surprised because most breeders concentrate on one breed. You seem to think I dont like goldendoodles- I do, I just clicked the link you supplied and saw adverts for labradoodles, goldendoodles and shepadoodles, and I was surprised to see three breeds- and then I commented that I hope you find happy homes for your pups (with those photos I think you'll have lots of interest!) You can dig around for a deeper meaning, but i meant exactly what I said, I was surprised.

Hardly world war three.

Looks like a labradoodle :D Are they HUGE? Teddys coat is fantastic and looks like a white version of Mac. Beautiful

teddy is gorgeous, i'm not suprised he is winning so many competitions! ( is he a lab or a golden doodle?)

I think the shepadoodles look adorable.

Well, I breed Labradoodles and Cavaliers ...... not every breeders concentrates on ONE breed only. Although for personal reasons my future is in cavaliers only and not doodles - but that is beside the point ....
I agree if you see the same person advertising lots of different breeds, then it may well be cause for alarm. Having said that there are top show breeders in the UK who breed and exhibit a variety of breeds ..... that is their choice and does not make them good or bad breeders.

As for Goldendoodle V Labradoodle. I must confess myself, that if I had my time over again, I would have bred Goldendoodles instead of Labradoodles .... as Donna says, their coats are more predictable and I do believe they are calmer by nature.

Teddy is beautiful btw Donna. :D
