OMG (NOW WITH PICCIES)

Post by debs43 » 11 Oct 2007, 20:51

Well ive given in and had ziggy clipped within an inch of his life, I cant stop laughing when i look at him. when i went to collect him the lady brought out a black dog with a traditional poodle cut pompom head feet and tail, i nearly died, but then she brought ziggy out and hes about a quarter of the size, he looks really funny but i know it will grow back will post some piccies as soon as i can stop laughin long enough to take a photo.

Oh well at least he doesn't know what he looks like. I know i will think he's cute whatever.

I remember having "Bam Bam" our persian cat, mid eighties, bless him. He hated being brushed, and used to give you a good, hard slap if you tried. Anyway his matting got so bad he had to have a GA and be shaved, They only took his side fur though, and he came out looking like a punk. I rang my OH, before he got home and told him in advance not to laugh, non of the other cats recognised him. It was funny, in a sad sort of way. At least it grows back

don't worry Deb, Scruff looked tiny and puppy like when I got him clipped. I did post this already but the post seems to have disappeared...here are some examples:

when he was clipped in Feb

as he is now - a couple of weeks ago

im afraid like it or not you may have to go down the same route if the coat is fleece, i groom him religously and still couldnt cope with his adult coat coming in, he may look funny but smells divine and feels and looks like crushed velvet

No Scruff is a scruffy, but my new lad is gonna need extra grooming but he's only small so won't be as much body to go over!

I bet he looks gorgeous. Macy had her first haircut this week too, I can't believe how small she really is under that big coat. Can't wait to see your photos, I bet they look very similar, they do when they have their coats on
