I would not hesitate in Reccommending Manorborn puppies, Jerome my Manorborn Puppy is the most playful
outgoing and intelligent dog I have ever come across, I cannot go down the street without people stopping me and saying what a beautiful dog, what Breed is he? and where did you aquire him from, I am a very Proud doodle owner, He has made my family complete. As this was our First dog I have needed lots of help and advise along the way, Even though I had a full Puppy pack information diet exercise Information I even had a Royal Canin Puppy Pack enough food for a week, Jerome even had his first Lead from Julie at manorborn, I had a Pedigree, Puppy Insurance, microchipped The parents were health checked and I had copies. When I first reserved our puppy before they were born I was kept updated with Pictures every Two weeks from the age of 3 days old, I also had a movie clip which was just Perfect for us.
when I arrived at Manorborn I was given the Opportunity to spend Time with the Puppies and if There was anything I was not happy about Then I could have had my deposit back without question :!:
My Husband is a Vet so we were not an easy couple to Please but Julie Ticked all the boxes and asked all the right questions. And Her Puppies were so Outgoing and Healthy.
So I have to say I agree with the other Happy Manorborn doodle owners and I have every Confidence in Julie at Manorborn.

:? Is it just me or does anyone else see a remarkable similarity in the posts made by Olivia and DEBS417. It almost looks like they have been written by the same person

Dogs are living creatures and have feelings too! They however are not able to speak for themselves or ask friends (or customers) to come and stick up for them. Nor do they deserve the way they are treated in some cases purely as a commodity with little or no regard for their happiness and well being.

It would be nice to see some photos of Noodle doodle and the other Manorborn doods. The dogs and puppies on their website look lovely :D

I always find it a bit odd when these type of threads pop up, and 'new users' jump to the defence of said breeder in question. It happens EVERY time!!!

How do these people know when these threads suddenly appear I wonder...? :?

Always puzzled me, that!

"Hello I think I should set the Record straight, There seems to be some confusion between myself Julie Rogers Manorborn and Minidoodles
I would like to point out that Minidoodles are a long term family friends, They started there Breeding Programe with Manorborn dogs. They also use our Miniature Poodle Lord Oscar, There Reason we have dogs due on the same day we both had Bitches in season the same time. the only difference is Minidoodles bitch is YELLOW and our Bitch is CHOCOLATE , we both Run Family Busisness and there is 3 miles distance between us, but other than that we are completely seperate breeders, Please Just call me On 01432 820997
There is really no need to have a forum on who I am Just Ring me and then ring Minidoodles.
If you want correct information please go to the source I would love to have a chat with you.
I can assure you there is nothing cloak and dagger about us we have been breeding dogs for 14 years.
Julie"

Do you mean all the capitals used on 'their' post or 'there' post? They DEFINATELY went to the same school!
I have no experience of the commercial breeder concerned.

I would never recommend buying from any large scale commercial breeder. I've known many where the pretty websites bear no resemblance to reality. Stage management of visiting pups, no pedigrees and no certainty of who is the mother (amongst so many), and when she last had a litter (with no registation of non pedigree pups this is impossible to verify). I am certain that you cannot make money from breeding dogs unless ethics are thrown out of the window. You can make an absolute fortune, though, by breeding unethically. View the beautiful properties and ultra clean kennels with the question, how was this paid for?

I see you are planning to go to a doodle meet, thats a good way to get advice.
I do not know of this breeder, but have found Carole G to be accurate and fair in her interpretations. Therefore i agree with the above statement, common sense also prevails

I DEFINITELY did!!! OOPS  ( council estate kid you know). I was definitely right about the same grammar mistakes in the posts though, which was my point, not that they were bad at spelling but that it was strange (a coincidence perhaps??) that two (apparently) different people did seem to have attended the same school ( perhaps another council estate school?)

I've never seen anyone say a bad word about Manorborn or their pups or heard any horror stories as we often do on these forums. Surely if they are breeding large scale, then there must be lots of Manorborn puppy owners out there and at some point, someone would have posted if there was any indication of something not right? The Labradoodle grapevine is always buzzing, is it not?

They do appear to do all the required health testing :?:

Personally I would be put off by the online deposit payment and only one pre-arranged viewing day 'to minimize stress to pup and mum', as I would have thought it would be good socialisation (not stress) for the pups to meet people at the appropriate age and mum usually welcomes visitors when the pups are old enough, but clearly many people are not phased by that as there are waiting lists etc. It wouldn't be my choice to buy from a commercial breeder anyway for numerous reasons, nor would I recommend it, but those are my views and choices. I don't consider all commercial breeders to be bad, I just think people need to be aware of the potential pitfalls.

eg. (and this has NO relevance to Manorborn) Someone I know bought a pedigree puppy from a commercial breeder who health tested her dogs. The hipscores of the parents given over the phone were nothing like those on the KC documents which were much higher and well above the breed average. Unfortunately this wasn't realised until the puppy had been taken home as the breeders word was taken. Certificates were not offered or requested at the time the puppy was purchased. Live and learn eh, :? people are not always as nice as they seem or as honest as we would like to believe.
