wish me luck.(i'll need it)

Post by groover » 19 Mar 2008, 00:51

well Herbie and i are off to his first big boy training class tomorrow night.
he's only done the kennel club puppy foundation class so far and that was before Xmas.
he's now 7 1/2 months and boy does he need further training
he's at the "make me" stage and loving every minute and I'm sorry to say he has a 0% recall record at the moment
i spoke to the trainer on the phone the other night and she was apologizing as she has had to put the class up to £4.00. i had to laugh as I'm sure we'll get our moneys worth and she may even consider another price hike when she gets a taste of Herbie.
anyway I'm sure he'll have loads of fun and I'm trying to be positive by thinking the only way is up but wish me luck anyway. i think I'll need it

Good luck Groover (and Herbie) - I'm not sure vicarious liability, under the respondeat superior doctrine, extends to dogs so you may get away with saying "It was him what did it officer - nothing to do with me". :D

They play up with such style, don't they?
Best of luck, maybe he'll be the class angel? You never know ... :D
(Barley certainly wasn't. )

Good Luck to you and Herbie, I'm sure you dont need it, that dog is an angel, butter wouldn't melt in his mouth!! :D He'll do anything for a bit of chicken.

Ruby goes back to dog training tomorrow after a few weeks break for being spayed. Being on lead walks only for those weeks was too much for her and she is doodle dashing everywhere these days, dont think the trainer will be too impresed with her!

Best of luck, Milly was always the class clown at ours  The only treat she would actually do anything for was go cat which didn't go down too well with the teacher!

imagine the maddest dog you've ever seen.
now imagine he's just been let into a room full of dogs but he's never seen another dog before.
now imagine that just before you took him in he ate 25 tubes of smarties washed down with 2lts of cola and some cat nip.

GETTING A PICTURE :?: NOT PRETTY EH :?: :?: :?:

Yes, just what I was thinking! :D
Then I will feel better about Barley's training class exhibitionism.

Did he pull you over? Steal the high value treats? Bark when the trainer spoke?

Spill the beans...
