Happy ending- here's Cate's new rescue Leo!

Post by suzi23173 » 27 Jul 2013, 17:58

Hi folks,
Some of you may have seen my recent post "stunning boy on gumtree". It was about a lovely dood called Leo, 19 months old and one of the prettiest doods I have ever seen. He was free to good home so I emailed the lady, apologising for sticking my nose in and letting her know the perils of free to good home. Turns out he wasn't done either so he was even more vulnerable.
Anyway the lady replied and and thanked me for my concern- she hadn't realised the danger but it was ok as she had found him a home with some one who was doodle mad and already had lots.
I joked that it would be nice if he turned up on here- and he has!!
Doesn't take much guessing who the doodle mad girl with lots of doods is- its our Cate of course!
Anyway she has kindly sent me a picture so with her permission I am posting it for her so you can see him. Amazing colour, settled really well and apparently a labradonkey!
Thank god for people who get off their backside and do something-
she's a doodle super heroine!
Soon she'll have to wear her knickers over her jeans!
Anyway I'll shut up- here he is- what a stunner!

Thanks Suzi for posting. The bald patch on his leg is from the vet as he was neutered yesterday.
He is massive, I am 6 ft tall and his head comes to my hips, likes to sit on your knee for a cuddle.
The lady also had a 3 yr old girl which I've managed to find a home for also.
So good news all round :D :D

Welcome Leo what a big handsome boy you are.

How many is that in your pack?

Well done for offering so many a great home and also finding homes for others.

Oh Cate , when I read your message I thought you had found a new home for her three year old daughter! Then realised my error... He looks really gorgeous and has settled into your pack. I think you need some Doodle super pants to wear over your trousers too. Unless you already have some!
