Poor Barney. Ageing is just so hard sometimes. If only we humans were as good at handling it as our dogs. Hope the medicated mackerel kicks in quickly.

sending convalescent cuddles for him.

:( Sorry to hear Barney suddenly feeling his age. Old age is nothing to look forward to. Hope his anti inflamatories do the trick and make him more comfortable soon. Love and hugs from us. Jacqui x

I've passed on your hugs to him, with a duck egg , so he's feeling quite happy. It's a good idea to try out an air bed - it will have to be a plastic one though because of the dust mites - I'll see what I can find = thanks!

Hope the air bed helps Barney's aches and pains Bid.
Don't forget to explain to him that it's only for sleeping on at home and not for floating off into the
English channel while sunning himself :D

Aww, feel better soon Barney :(

Have you looked into massage for his joints? Mabel had a bad elbow when she knocked it after chasing a ball a bit too enthusiastically and it really helped. It's also a lovely way to spend time with them. There's a lot of articles online about it.

Hope Barney is feeling better, Hollie has been feeling her age too recently (11) she has been having problems with her tum mainly due to eating to fast  and getting hold of chews she shouldn't have  . She has had a weekend of looking very sorry for herself and not eating and being sick but was drinking. Thankfully she has picked up today and is now eating and looking more herself. :D

Poor Hollie - hopes she's better soon!

Barney has massages - he's too sore for the deep tissue massages though - he can only cope with the holistic massage which is much gentler.

Oh poor old Barney, hope he's feeling better soon and that Daze and Poppy are being good younger sisters to him and not tourmenting him too much!
