Bragging about my jammy self! :D

Post by AustinsMumma » 07 Mar 2014, 19:52

Have been finding new hobbies to occupy myself lately, and thought I would try my hand at jam making (as well as a counselling course, piano lessons and voluntary work)...

Anyways, my virgin batch of 3 jars are complete and cooling!! (atopped with Kirsty Allsopp covers)

I'm feeling a bit chuffed with myself at the moment, (even though it wasn't that difficult to make and I bet a lot of you already make it brilliantly)!

So there we go. Only problem is... I have 9 jars, lids etc left, so need to find something else to fill them with. Anyone? Ideas??
(Cannot stand marmalade or pickles so they are all out)

Well done. How about a caramelized red onion, It's delicious and easy. I made that and a Christmas chutney for gifts at Christmas and they went round really well. :D

well done. I've had several goes at marmalade making and it's ended up in the bin.

What counselling course are you doing? I'm an integrative psychotherapist which means I use all modalities in my work. Are you going the CBT route?

Hiya, I'm just starting off with the 'introduction to' course (part time, nights) just to see if I like it / as a hobby
If it goes well I plan to progress with more, not sure with what yet
I wanted to do a substance abuse one but there wasn't enough demand atm :( Maybe September they say

I like CBT. I have has this myself and found it effective. That and the CBT was more relaxed than a therapist opposite you analysing your ever word lol
