Remembering my friend Alfie

Post by Doodle Dee » 23 Jul 2013, 08:18

My affenpinscher Alfie died a year ago this week and left a hole really big in my life - He was 14 and loved by everyone one (and not an exaggeration) - he saw me through many ups and downs in my life and was always a constant

I miss him dreadfully and Lulu is filling my heart up slowly but there will always be a place where she cant get to which is reserved for Alfie :(

Alfie looks like he was a real little character and what a cheeky face!
Lulu will just nudge herself into the rest of your heart and occupy the space alongside him

We never forget or stop loving our furry friends, I think our hearts just get a bit bigger to let the new ones in :) .

Take care

Oh Dee, he looked gorgeous. Gone but never forgotten. Luckily our doodles are such characters they help us get over the loss. They do give us so much joy and pleasure, and are so faithful and loyal. Our very best friends. They deserve to be remembered. X

Bless him, such a lovely boy.
I like to think that they are there on the other side of life, waiting for us. :)
Thinking of you and your wonderful Alfie.

That brought a tear to my eye, Dee. We lost our Welsh Terrier Harry a year ago next month. He was 16 and a real character.

I think the next dog doesn't take their place, we love them in a different way but no less than before.
