It is with much regret to announce that stitch was put to sleep yesterday morning. She was suffering from either bowel cancer or a ruptured tumour and was very poorly. She was just 2.5 years old. The vet gave us 2 weeks of antibiotics a few weeks back (we didnt know what it was at this point) and it gave us the best 2 weeks with her we have had in ages, as she had been poorly for a while. Stitch was the bestest friend we have ever had, and we have so many cheeky memories of her...how many dogs can say that she slept practically in the bed with her hoomans whilst she thought they might not notice!
rip lady stitch, our baby doodle xx

How we all hate posts like this that remind us our Doods are only loaned to us for a short sweet time. Enjoy your memories and be happy that you were able to give her such a good life with you. Thinking of you at this time x

It breaks my heart every time I read about a family losing their best friend, and it makes me realise how little time we have with our beloved doods.
You had Stitch for such a short time - 2 1/2 is no age and way too young to lose her. But you gave her a lovely life and she will stay in your hearts forever. She's no longer in pain or suffering so you did the right thing, it's just hard to come to terms with it.
Phoebe and I send warm licks and hugs.
