Hello folks,
Haven't posted for some time but often pop in for everyone's news so I hope you won't mind me saying a few words for our Paddy who we said goodbye to yesterday.
He'd been with us for almost 15 years, from 6 weeks old, and was from the days of "free to a good home". Mother a golden lab, father unknown!
When Olga arrived with us, he was the best big brother and we were amazed at the things he taught her, good manners especially.
He looked out for her always and I worry how she'll be having never been without him.
Thanks to Bid for your good advice when I've agonised in the past few months over 'when' but as you so rightly advised we knew when the time came.
I'm sure in a few days I'll appreciate the long, happy and very healthy life he had, but today it doesn't seem to help.
Many tears being shed here for our dear Paddy, probably the best Labradoodle trainer in the world!!
We'll love and miss him always.........

Sue and Olga x

So sorry to hear of your loss; I can imagine how bad you must be feeling.

Our thoughts are with you and Paddy.

Thanks everyone for all your kind words. It means so much to know how much others care.
Poor Olga is a bit out of sorts, without her big brother here. She's eating her food but is not quite herself. And not making an effort to steal the cat's food which is very unusual for her!
We're off to caravan tomorrow which I'm kind of dreading. The woods where Paddy loved to romp and the river that he swam for hours in. But we'll take Ol for some good long walks and have granddaughter Phoebe with us, she'll keep us busy!
Thanks again and enjoy the Bank Holiday weekend, hope the sun shines!

Love Sue and Olga x
