Today our house is a much sadder place as last night we lost Fergus our much loved cat.
He has been part of our fanily for 21 years so he will be soooo missed.
He was a gentle cat....not much good at catching things (thank goodness) infact I don't recall him ever killing anything (unlike his sister  )
He was a real softie and so loved by all of the Grandchildren.
I know he had a long and healthy life but in some ways this makes the parting much more difficult....he has always been around and now he's not
Run free Fergus , much loved Moggie.....see you again at the bridge

So sorry to read this.
Its so hard when one of our beloved pets have to go.
The only thing by way of consolation is that they were loved and had a happy life.
Ted, Mabel and Patch send you a doodle lick and hug.

So sad for you Linny. The loss of our beloved pets hurts deeply. What a grand age Fergus was and I can understand how empty it must feel after all these years of him being with you. He reminds me of my first cat when i was a child. A farm cat adopted us and became my best friend. I called her Topsy and if I was ever upset or crying she would fuss round me purring and prodding me with her nose until I stopped. She slept in bed with me every night much to my nan's dismay!
Our animals give us so much it makes the pain worthwhile somehow.
Thoughts, hugs and doodle licks

Our furbabies don't live long enough for us do they, it's just not fair :( .

My Felix who is probably about 15 ish has a tumour on his mouth and we take it day by day. I was hoping that he would get through last summer and he has done very well, putting weight back on and looking more perky.

The house must feel very empty without him, RIP Fergus xx

Oh Linny, I'm so, so sorry. They are all so much a part of our lives and just give, give, give asking nothing in return. I still miss my lovely Mac who I lost last month. He was only 10, but 21 is a great age for a kitty pal. Very sad for you and your family. Run free Fergus.
