Hello, I’m the teenage co-owner of a 4 month old miniature labradoodle called Dido. She’s gold and cream in colour, and we absolutely love her! So glad my parents chose to have a doodle, she’s proving to be an absolute delight. My brother and I have had lots of fun training her, and she’s been a star at puppy classes.

Aww, how lovely, doods are wonderful, good to train and well behaved once they are.

Pictures are loved on this site of all doodles.

Dido sounds such a pretty girl. I bet she looks adorable! It's great having a dog when you are a teenager - they are always there for a chat when you feel like a a hooman won't do!!! I bet you and your brother are enjoying training her. Have fun and Enjoy! :D

Hi- i have a 4 month old too. She is a standard doodle - such a character and adorable. Luna is also a star at training - they are very clever. I look forward to comparing progress!

Thanks everyone! She’s great for cuddles and her soft poodle-like fur is very therapeutic  I have lots of photos - how exactly can I attach them to replies (so you can all watch her progress)?

If you go on to the other chat posted recently 'Where is everyone' someone put up a very useful and easy link to follow re: photos. Having said that I have yet to get round to doing it but most people have managed it very well!

Thanks again! Here are some photos:
1: 10 weeks old - https://postimg.cc/image/60xx1gtkx/
2. 12 weeks - https://postimg.cc/image/fa03c2fgx/
3. 15/6 weeks - https://postimg.cc/image/6t0l0nxs1/

As you can tell she doesn’t exactly look like a doodle...very Labrador like but with some poodle features, so we call her our Frankenstein pup. I’ll try to find a picture of her standing up - she has fantastic leg ‘plumes’ which look lovely but when I groom her after a walk they always carry lots of grass seeds

Thank you for all the lovely comments - all of your doodles are gorgeous too! Are there pictures of Kobi for comparison? We haven’t met another mini doodle yet and despite online research we have no idea how she’ll turn out  For progress updates, is there a separate thread I should post on or stay on this one? As you can tell I’m new to the forum :D

A quick update for everyone: I’m so sorry for being inactive, my family was on vacation and I didn’t have time to post much. Dido is doing really well - less nipping at biting already at only 5.5 months compared to 4 months when she was a little crazy biter  we have however noticed her adult coat is coming through in patches it seems - she has a darker, coarser area down her spine and then very fleecy areas on her flanks! Does anyone have any ideas what she might end up like? She was the fluffiest girl in her litter, and second fluffiest out of all 9 of them, so we’re hoping she doesn’t end up looking more smooth haired since we did prefer the fleece or wool coat.
I’ll attach some photos to show her progress too x
