Say Hi to Connie

Post by Gambit » 16 Feb 2010, 22:32

Hello Everyone,

I'd like to introduce our little family who is soon to be a little doodle richer. There's me, my wife Janice and my daughter Megan. My wife and I have wanted a puppy/dog since we were kids and for one reason or another it's never happened until now!

We had been looking at all kinds of different breeds and just kept coming back to doodles, for their looks, temperament and fun. We started looking seriously for a breeder in the new year and after a couple of near misses was lucky enough to find our puppy, Connie. She's an F1 Golden Doodle from a beautiful litter. We're now at 6 sleeps and counting until we pick her up and we just can't wait. I've attached a couple of pics from our last visit to Connie and will do my best to keep you pic hungry doodle fiends satisfied in the coming weeks, months, years!

We live in Paisley, just outside Glasgow and will be looking forward to some doodle meets once Connies is a bit bigger. If there are any of Connie's siblings near by let us know cause it would be good to keep in touch. She came from a litter in Strathaven, breeder's name was Julie and mum was a beautiful Golden Retriever called Holly.

Thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum because it's been so helpful getting ready for Connie's arrival. We would sit and think of something we would need to check out and spookily it would appear on this forum with loads of useful tips. We're sure to have loads of questions as we and Connie grow up with each other so keep up the good work! Wish us luck for next week!

Cheers
Jonathan

Welcome to the forum! Connie is adorable. Make the most of every day coz it goes so fast when they are little. It seems like yesterday we were counting the sleeps & frantically buying up every product on the PAH shelves!
Enjoy :D

What a cuddlesome baby, she's so sweet. Choosing between all those beautiful pups is a hard task. I bet you can't wait to have her home with you.
