OSCAR

Post by napierclose » 25 Apr 2011, 01:41

G/day to u from sunny oz,
I've added some photos of Oscar growing up so far.....
He is from Tora labradoodles in Scotland - we got him in sep 2009, he is a medium f1b...
Has anyone else got a dood from that litter around that time - would be great to see some of his brothers/sisters..

I would rather upload my photos from flicker without the address to click on??
How do you post actual photos rather that url address???Mosty people seem to just have the photos on there post...

Thanks....................

What a gorgeous boy!

I'm afraid the site doesn't have a system for hosting pictures, that's why we have to link to images already on the web.

Oscar is very handsome. Monty's mum is from Tora Labradoodles but not from the same litter. We live in Scotland and meet lots of Tora Labradoodles when out walking and they all seem to have such nice natures.

Hi to you and Oscar!
He looks gorgeous. That must have been hard having him in quarantine.
Where have you settled? We are in Perth.

Small world...we are also in Perth on the coast!!
We are looking for another labradoodle...a standard from an offical credited breeder- do you know anyone who breeds them??

We have had no luck finding anything out for the standard size- it all seems to be minature or medium...
:) :)

By the way Charlie is lovely....is he a minature or medium dood.......and where did you get him from/if you don't mind me asking

Small world indeed! Just don't tell too many people about our little piece of paradise :D

I agree about the trend towards minis and mediums. I often look at litters - not that I'm allowed another one :( - and the standards are few and far between. Charlie is a medium I guess, about 15.5kg, and about knee high. I would love a standard.

There are no registered labradoodle breeders in WA that I am aware of, so we got Charlie from a breeder in Queensland, and were very happy with it all. He came to us very well socialised and almost house trained, and has continued to be friendly to all. Quite naughty, but we'll call that "character"

The breeder he came from was:
http://www.jajaca.com.au/puppies.php But be warned, they have a new litter...!!

The ALA is also good to locate registered breeders, but I would still ask lots of questions:

I'll just bore you with a couple more pics of Charlie :D

Should also have said that most importantly he came to us very healthy.
