Hi.

We are currently 'doing the research' on Labradoodles, and am considering a purchase soon.

The doodle would be our second dog, as we currently have a Dalmation, she is 8 years old and is a lovely family pet. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who actually went from owning one dog to two. Was it a huge difference. I appreciate that there will be a cost increase.

:D

We went from one dog to two then to three and now four  :D
Wouldn't swap them for the world though, and they soon become part of the family, as you know with your Dalmation, and of course they are great company for each other :D It is a huge difference as it's double the joy, and our Doodles are so loyal and entertaining. Good luck :D

Hi there,

We got out doodle pup when our lab was 8, and yes - it was a big difference. We had forgotten how much time a puppy took up and how destructive a puppy can be, but we had also forgotten how much fun a puppy is and agree that having 2 dogs is twice as wonderul as one dog!

Yep,, Just what we thought twice as much fun :D

We won't go for another dog until our house move which should be in a few weeks time. Much bigger garden for the dog(s).

Mentioned to our Dalmation today about a possibility of a new friend and she fell over with excitement -

Ahh, fab picture :D . We've got 2 dogs and have never regretted it. Infact, we are hoping to make it 3 this summer! They are such good company for each other, and if you are walking/feeding one, you may as well be doing it for two. :D

I have always had more than one dog - doodles for a long while now - I think that they keep each other company - and me!! Provided you have the space ..... cant go wrong really! Especially with a doodle.
