The LCGB

Post by lucy courtney » 20 Oct 2007, 18:51

all will be posted on here when all the people who are members of the club have met in person, they will of course take into account all labradoodle issues, including rescue.I am not making any rules myself.the entire thing will be done properly between Carol Shaw,Mary Summerfield,Jim and Sandra Senior and myself,we are also trying to get an independant panel member who is not a breeder to act as an independant advisor.

Ralphy, you are not alone, I'm a bit confused as well :? I'm just a small hobby breeder, am I eligible to join or is it by invite only :?:

Sorry to be thick but I can't work out what ESN stands for.

Still waiting to see if 'I am in the club'....maybe it's exclusive and they don't want me....boo hoo!!

The background on this is on the thread "Well done,Cosmo" and I think the club is for breeders not for owners like us,Pam......

I agree Pam. However I think it is going to send out very mixed messages to the public and potetial owners. I mean without knowing about this site, the first place you'll look is LCGB because it looks "right"and would appear to be the definitive home of the "experts" when to me it sounds like an "old boys club".

Thanks for clearing that up!

I would not like dealing with the rescue if people were acting like the Cosmo thread....i.e arguing, secretive, better than everyone else and not saying who they actually are.

Apologies for anyone who is a member of this exclusive club who is not acting as above.
