Totally agree with everyone else on this one. It's not worth the risk in my opinion.

I would also add that now people are becoming more aware of the necessary tests, you are far more likely to get great homes for Sophie's pups if you have had her hips/elbows/eyes checked out

Good point Catherine, people are certainly more aware and less likely to obtain a puppy from non hipscored/elbows eye tested parents :)

hi all yes i do agree i will enquire about the other tests too ,but in answer to grainne , i do have sophies parents hip scores and her grandparents,kind regards ann

Sorry, I understood from this that you only had the grandparents.

Good luck with the tests, and don't take any nonsense from your vet!! Some have apparently said there is no need if its a cross breed, which we all know is rubbish, so stand your ground!

hi grainne , i will stand my ground with the vets,i see how you read my posting , when i referred to the grandparents hip scores , i meant for sophies puppies ,next time hopefully will have there mums too ,kind regard ann
