Lactulose solution

Poor Darcy is constipated & I know I've read somewhere about giving them a little lactulose solution does anyone know how much please?

We were all geared up to going to Coombe park meet but had to cancel as she's been a bit sick & is having probs pooing!

No idea sorry, but it is pretty mild safe stuff, used it for my daughter for years. I'd try a kids dose and see if it works.

If she's being sick though could she have a blockage or serious case of constipation which might need to be checked out?

I think you are meant to give a small amount (tablespoon-ish) 3 x a day. It is very gentle on the system.

As said before, if she isn't pooing and is being sick then she needs to be taken to the vets asap as it can be a sign of a blockage.

I hope she is better soon.
