Thank you for all your replies!

I eventually bit the bullet and took him to the vet.

Our vet, in my opinion, is fantastic. They agreed that he shouldn't be put on a hills etc diet as it's so pants nutritionally but the also wanted to avoid any meat for a while. Now, Bob being Bob won't eat just white fish - I know - he's a pain!!

So, we've agreed to put him back on fish origen for a while. To be honest, although I'm totally pro raw, if it suits him I'm going to leave him on it.

Bl**dy dogs!!

So - He's been on fish Origen since my last posting and the gagging and bile have stopped :D
His skin is still a mess but I wasn't expecting a quick fix for that so it's still work in progress.

He's eating the kibble without fuss but not with as much gusto as the raw :( Poor lamb

Number 2's are good so it must be agreeing with him :)

Could he be allergic to meat protein in general?

Fingers crossed his skin starts to improve!

Fingers crossed the skin improves.

Ps: there is some correlation between fish and increased histamine in the body results typical itching etc something to conside re his fish oils etc? :?
