Jazz has had the runs since Saturday evening so gave her boiled rice and white for this, I have read pumpkin is good for dogs with upset tummy so wondering as pumpkins are in the stores at the moment has anyone tried this? If so what do you with it - boil it???
I usually have pro-kolin in but sod's law I didn't replace when it was last used

Potato might be a better option than rice, some dogs can be sensitive to the rice. Some natural goat's yogurt might be helpful too, to restore some of the friendly bacteria.

Hope Jazz is feeling better soon!

Thanks Sarah - I will steam some spuds to go with the pumpkin. I have some Activia probiotic -do you think a teaspoon of that would be ok??

That Yoghurt should be fine but you may want to shop around as vaguely recall it had extra additives. Mine love butternut squash too steamed or raw for crunchiness. I like it raw too
If Jazz stil, has funny tum, if was me, I would starve her for 24 hrs. Iknow it's difficult will those pleading, demanding eyes but does seem to do the trick, giving innards time to settle.
Hope resolved soon, don't leave it too long but you know your doods best
