Following consideration of feedback the Rehoming Section of the forums has been re-opened. As before however for all rehoming requests - either if you have a dog that you need to rehome or if you wish to be considered as a candidate for receiving a dog - you are encouraged to direct your enquiry to the Labradoodle Trust. The section exists primarily to discuss matters concerning rehoming, suitability, problem issues etc and no dogs should be offered for rehoming nor solicitations for dogs be made - such postings may be withdrawn without notice.

So is it still acceptable to flag up dogs we see on gumtree and preloved etc? Thank you.

Not really - if people want to chance their arm rehoming a dog through some other channel then that's up to them but there's enough information on here that they should be wiser. They're quite capable of looking on those sites though if they so wish.

I feel that flagging dogs on preloved and gumtree can save a dog from harm and we should all be alerted to that .. But am glad there is to be a rehoming section on here.

I'm with Mark on this one.
Cavaet is if there is 'free to good home' ad then first off would be to kindly advise the advertiser about LT option to rehome & send them contact info. (some folks still don't know about the voluntary charity)
Next let everyone on here (UKLA) know the advertiser has been informed on those ads.
