Hi everyone, just to let you know that the Yorkshire Doodlers (previously known as the S&W Yorkshire Doodle Meet Group) have changed their location for their Meets.
They now gather at Cannon Hall, a large country estate with lots of open space for the doods to run, a good cafe, clean toilets and an amazing 'farm' shop...

They gather on the grassy area in front of the cafe, just down from the car park, for 10.30 am, then move off around the house and down into the estate.

After the dogs have had a decent dash around, chasing balls and being discouraged from taking a dip (sadly, the water in the ponds is rather stinky) the hooms walk back up the hill and back towards the cafe - where you can buy hot food, cakes, coffee and (so I am informed) alcohol... There are plenty of outdoor tables, and a fresh water tap to replenish you Doodle's bowl.

You need to drive past the lower car park when you first arrive and continue up to hill until you see the sign for the Farm. Turn right here, and there is ample parking at a fixed charge of £3.00. You will be given a token to use in the cafe to get £3.00 off your food and drink if you spend £10.

Cannon Hall is well-signed from the M1, with brown 'heritage' signs.
