North-East Doodles on Tour 2009

Post by Dood about town » 06 Dec 2008, 11:09

Copied from DT (where theres an auction going on did you know  ends 9pm tonight, get yourself over there :D )

OK, here is last years timetable of events. I would say by now we've all probably discovered some new walks that we can work in, I know we've found one nearer to us that has parking so I'll put that one up as a possible...

Coatham Woods, nr Yarm, Cleveland

Shall we stick with second Sunday in the month at 11? Ideas on a post card, well just a post, there are lots more of us now so lets see if we can get some walks in Co Durham and Cleveland too.

Hope to see lots of you at Woodhorn next weekend (not sure who suggested it but could someone pm me directions, you know what I'm like!)

I have been sadly lacking in my duties but the whip round for Rescue will re-commence, given the credit crunch, christmas, the auction, lets say January. Sorry, we sent £15 to the coffers after the last meet  I don't think I posted it, sorry :hide: )

Hi Lynn, sorry, I don't come on here very often now.
I always enjoy Druridge Bay so I think that should definately go on the list.
I'll have a good think for other suggestions....my minds gone blank (often happens!)

Hi we couldnt make Chopwell Woods last time but it should be a good walk, or Waldridge Fell, or Hamsterley Forest or somewhere towards Hexham as there are one or too up that way . We cannot make Sunday but have a good day and Merry Christmas to everyone see you all next year hopefully January : :)
