Mote Park in Kent Meet Anyone?
Mote Park in Kent Meet Anyone?
Is anyone planning a Doodle meet up in Mote Park soon? If not shall I set a date and see if anyone wants to join me and Moppet? I've never been to one before and can't believe (having just joined the website) what I've been missing out on!

Hi
Would welcome a meet soon. Is this Sunday (18th) too soon?
Mia has just finished her season, and I'm dreading the first walk in the park off lead. Can you imagine, a doodle who has not had a chance to do all those typical doodle things for four weeks! The first dogs and humans she has a chance to play with won't know what's hit them, or rather spun round, jumped up and licked them!
Anyone willing to take the chance? Usual meeting place, say 11am?
Nicola

How does the Sunday the 25th sound? Was thinking about 12 noon outside cafe at Mote Park.

Sunday 25th it is.
Took Mia to the park this morning - was hoping it would be horrible weather so only the hardened dog walkers would be out, but no glorious sun and lots of nice (clean) families out for a walk and Dads playing football with cute kids. Nightmare.
Mia made a bee line (is that how you spell it?) after every dog, even the one's miles away, ran circles round totally fazed owners, jumped up to tell them how happy she was to be able to see everyone again, then belted off to the next poor unsuspecting dog and owner. She 'helped' lots of families brush up on their football tackling skills by taking the ball away from them, and strengthened family bonds as unsuspecting families huddled together while Mia circled them to check out whether they a) had any dogs to play with or b) any dog treats in their pockets.
I'm going to get one of those dog coats printed with "Sorry, sorry, ...she's a Doodle"

Hi all, we've just got back from the vets and as Lenny's remaining "bits" are swollen they have said not to take him on the walk sunday, or any walks before they see him again next monday.
He has antibiotics as a precautionary measure, he seems absolutely fine in himself but we're not going against veterinary advice so l'm sorry to say we can't come this time.
We'd love to see you all whenever the next date is fixed,
kind regards to all and sorry to mess you around.
