Just replied to your introduction message, saying a very similar thing! We too are in Herts!
"He is your friend, your partner, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion."

there are a few of us around - I am in Stevenage, there is also Fish in St Albans but she hasn't been around too much lately

I might be able to do the morning of the 14th or then it will be the 28th for us (October) - am still trying to get sorted following the house move but could spare a couple of hours seeing as we are all so local

Where are the others so we can work out best place to try and meet?

Jo - what do you think about possibly coming over to the fields behind the pub again? That is nice and safe for them all to play - just fields (ploughed and also grassy too!) though so not picturesque exactly

Hi Donna

Sounds good to me and not to hard to find either :D ...there is a great field, park, woods in Great Ashby where we go a lot at the weekends which is a great place for dogs....but can be hard to find (well that car park is anyway!!) .I am sure we can all find a great place to meet up.

Pebs cant wait

HOLA fellow Herts-residents and owners of labradonkeys

decided to resurrect this thread to see if anyone fancied having a doodle meet either this month or next, now that 2008 has arrived?

Verulam Park in St Albs was our last venue, and is pretty good, as it is a) big, b) has parking c) has a cafe for that apres-walk cappuccino and butty (essential requirements in my book!)

so, anyone up for it?

the Ripmeister is currently in the midst of her first (and soon to be last!) 'season', so cannot come out to play properly for at least another two weeks! :?

Donz, I'll bring you some truffles this time! S

hi there

it's pretty easy to find, and if there's enough interest and we can all fix a date, I can post a wblink and a google map etc.

mind you, am sure there are plenty of other suitable muddy parks in the county that folk may also suggest..
