Barney

Post by Bid » 10 May 2010, 16:44

I can't really believe that I am writing this. My beautiful lab Barney was put to sleep this afternoon. He was 12 years old and has been living with us for 6 years. He was the most loving gentle dog you could ever wish to meet, he brought up two doodle puppies to be a joy to have in the home, and we are all going to miss hime more that I can possibly say.

Sleep tight sweetheart.

Oh Bid, I am so sorry that Barney has had to cross to the other side

I had literally just sent you a pm about him before you posted. You made the right decision not to let him suffer. It's always such a rotten, hard thing to do but the kindest and most caring in the circumstances.

Barney was a great boy and had a wonderful life with you after you took him in from your Mum. He was a shining example to Daisy and Poppy and I know you will all miss him far more than words can say.

Cuddle your girls closer tonight and know we are all thinking and caring about you.

Oh, I am so sorry to hear that. We really do need to cherish every day of the short time we spend with them, don't we?

Oh Bid - this is the hardest thing in the world, saying goodbye to our darlings. You gave him a wonderful life, and he gave you all his love, he deserves our tears. (((HUGS)))
