Just left Daisy in the kitchen for 5 minutes, returned to find she had jumped the child gate to the dining room and was sitting on the middle of the dining room table looking out of the window, she saw me jumped off the table and cleared the stair gate back into the kitchen.
Should I stop the agility training?

Or just get a taller gate.

I'm glad Monty isn't the only one!!

He started jumping it at 6 months but only really bothers if I'm on the other side. Think we'll get rid of it soon - doesn't seem any point now?!

I took mine away the third time she hopped over it. I have never caught Kizzie on the table, but I know she has been, only way to explain one or two things she has stolen

Lol! I have to admit that this possibility worried me as when we went to see Lola as a pup, her mum, a tiny Aussie miniature labradoodle jumped clean out of the puppy pen to greet us. Lola then went on to CLIMB out of her puppy pen, 3 foot high puppy pen, when she was only about 8 inches high!

I'm very relieved to say she hasn't tried. You can get an extra tall gate, and one of them has a cat flap in!

Really ?? Where ?? I've seen the taller ones in P@H but not with a cat flap !

We just removed on of the bars in our tall dog gate so teh cat can get through, bit I don't know if the gap would be big enough for a mini dood though

Oh Noooo.... Don’t get that extra tall stair gate with the large cat flap.
We bought one and Marmite a 30kg Dood could crawl through the flap!
When I phoned the supplier they didn't want to know or help however the manufacturer were fantastic. The account manager phoned me back and his opening line was " On my laptop I have 3 video clips of rather large dogs making an escape through the catflap, I have a feeling you are about to send me clip number 4"
They were great and sent me free of charge another gate they are producing that has a much smaller flap. Apparently the 'big' flap gates were made for a USA spec and they now make a UK version. Goodness knows how big American cats must be!

It was highly entertaining when the new gate arrived and was installed across the kitchen doorway. Poor Marmite was totally confused why she couldn't make a sneaky exit
