Nature Diet

Post by travis » 10 Sep 2013, 18:25

For what it's worth
We always buy NatureDiet in the box of 18 packs but our local pet food store, which is cheaper than P@H, usually only has Chicken flavour on a regular basis.
I decided to order some online from GJWTitmuss.co.uk. Buying 3 boxes (which we will use in 54 days) means free 48hour delivery and it works out at just under 72p per pack.
I can highly recommend this company and will be using them again in future.

Thanks for that - I used Berriewoods who are also brilliant - for free delivery and 4 boxes of 18 it cost £54 - not sure how that equates with the company you suggest (all I know is it was cheaper than Pets at Home)

Hi there,
I live near Fakenham in Norfolk and our local pet supplies place, GJL in Fakenham, does a pack of 18 for £13.50. They always have puppy, senior, chicken, lamb, and turkey and rabbit. You can easily order in fish versions if you so desire.
They are brilliant there and also do local deliveries.
Just in case any Norfolk people didn't know about GJL!

Hi Travis - hope you are well - I was pleased to see your post as I was wavering about ordering those cases as I usually have nurturing by nature but have found their recent delivery charges unacceptable.
Does this food need freezing or just a cool place ? as you can tell I have not used this before
Cheers

Wish we could buy the boxes - but Lola hates the tripe flavour! It would be much cheaper. We pay 95p per packet.

Oh - that's better than P@H isn't it. I but it for when we are camping and supplement supermarket meats with this. We have two fridges but run out of room really quickly so this helps.

You can choose the flavour - Bella hates the fish one - so I never buy that! Three boxes of 18 is £38.55 (free delivery) from GWTitmuss :)

We buy ours at our local pet shop (99p a pack) or at P&H (97p). Coco likes all the flavours but I haven't seen the tripe one. I am going to look for a local bulk supplier - we are in Essex.
Pixie's mum - it doesn't need to be frozen, or even refrigerated until it's opened. Once open it keep for 48 hours in the fridge, but each individual pack is only 390g so with 2 dogs I guess you wouldn't have any partly used packs that needed to be refrigerated. I rate this food highly - it's 65% meat or fish content with rice, vegetables, ground bone and seaweed, and that's it :D

Kathy, sorry I'm a bit late with a reply but as Masil says it doesn't need storing in a fridge. :D
