I'm looking for recommendations for a water bowl that can’t be tipped up (or is hard to tip up). Bee is constantly over turning her water bowl all over the kitchen, garden, crate or wherever else it is placed!

Hi, We have a similar problem with Mabel, I had a water bowl thrown over me this morning!

We had the heavy pot (stoneware) bowls in the house for previous dogs and theyre great, cant be tipped, keep the water cool, easy to clean and last forever. Ours are at least 20 years old and still look like new but unfortunately I don't know where I've put them.

I'm going to order some new ones and if the old ones turn up they will be used as outdoor bowls. I always used to get mason cash ones, the quality is fab, they do the traditional beige bowls with "dog" "water" etc on the front with or withour blue interior and now do some nice polka dot ones which i have my eye on, I think rosewood also do some nice patterened ones as well.

Thanks! Although we have ceramic ones and she can still tip them up. It's a real party trick of hers!

We use Road refresher bowls for Stout - even if the get tipped over they don't spill - he used to be a pro at waterbowl paddling! We have now taken out the floating bit as (touch wood) he has got more sensible in his old age!

Have a look at grade trading company. They do a lovely large grey enamel one which is wide at the base so would be very difficult to tip over.

I have road refreshers in my dog van - brilliant inventions! Beamish had one when he was a puppy and he never paddled in it or spilt it!
