Hi all. We are about to em(bark) on our first family dog and thought a labradoodle would be perfect. Hopefully we can gain valuable knowledge from you guys before we take the plunge.
My Husband and I have 2 girls and our youngest daughter Hope has downs so we would be looking to train our future companion as a service dog to help keep Hope away from danger. We look forward to bombarding you with complete newbie questions. Please be gentle.

Welcome to the forum.
It is a bit quiet of late, but someone will be along to answer questions.
Cant wait to hear and see photos of your new doodle when you get it.
Good luck xx

Welcome !
You have made a perfect choice....doodles are extremely empathic dogs..mine are almost mind readers....they pick up very quickly on our emotions and I'm sure that once trained your pup will make a perfect assistance dog for Hope.
