Boarding kennels

Post by maggiemilli » 11 Mar 2015, 15:52

I am just wondering if anyone can recommend any boarding kennels in the region of Derby, Long Eaton or Nottingham. We have used one regularly which we like but is a bit of a distance away. Always seems difficult to find a good kennels!
For some reason can't see my signature photo.. a while since I posted.

We use one at Scarcliffe which is about 5/10mins from J29 of the M1 but not sure if thats a bit to far for you.

20 a night and they get a good walk...whenever we've used them i always arrange to pick Roker up after the morning walk and he barely moves all day when he gets home.

Run by the girl who does the training classes i take Roker to as well. Their website is here :-

New website is a bit hit and miss as to what she's managed to get on there but i couldnt recommend her highly enough and i was passed her way by another highly satisfied customer. Trying to get Roker in for a few day care days here and there to get him out of the house but struggling to find room for him with the others she takes out!!

I can recommend two, both are dogs living in the owners homes both with excellent fully enclosed safe environments to run around. And both are fully insured and very caring.
Both are situated near burton on trent one is near A50

I can recommend 2 near to Junction 26 of the M1:-

I have used both for Henry and he has been fine at both.

Naptha is a kennels that was taken over about 2 years ago and has undergone a lot of refurbishment.
Dovecote is a family that takes pets in their own home.

I would recommend either.
